This three-part bookcase opens with two projecting front doors above five drawers, flanked with two tall narrow doors. The mahogany and mahogany burr are enhanced with lavish ormolu mounts. All drawers are framed, often featuring a rosette at the four corners, and each glass door displays a geometrical ormolu structure. The triangular pediment rests on a cornice, supported by a frieze of ormolu triglyphs. It is centered with a verre églomisé frieze representing two griffons, framing a girandole against a blue background.
