Mantel clock by Jean Chambon
A Louis XVI ormolu bronze mantel clock. The dial is surrounded by two leaned putti, the first one against a trunk and the other one against a palm. This set is surmounted by an obelisk flanked with military attributes, topped by a crown on a pillow and relied on four lion feet. This mantel clock stands on a blackened wood base decorated with an ormolu interlaced design frieze.
